Any one star ratings you read of this place can be written off as idiots. Best place in town (and it’s not even close). Great atmosphere, layout and vibe. David is an absolute savant at his work. Everyone there is super friendly and professional. He even made me a cup of cold brew before my hair cut. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Truly impressed all around with the service here. First off, haircut looks amazing, never had someone have so much attention to detail while cutting my hair. On top of that, my appointment got canceled because the apprentice barber quit. Dave the owner worked late that night and got me in on the same day that I was originally scheduled. He even honored the price of the cut I booked with the apprentice. Real stand up guy. He definitely won my business!

Visiting Flagstaff for a few days during a vacation and needed a clean up. Urban had the best reviews - by far - in the area. I texted after hours hoping to get a call back the next day, but Dave responded that evening and set me up. The shop is excellent; spacious and clean. Music is present but not overwhelming like it can be in some modern shops. The services were impeccable. I had the sides of my head clipped down and all the lines up to my Mohawk cleaned up. I also opted for the hot shave, with a mineral mask treatment afterwards. Along with all of that, Dave cleaned up my unibrow, turning it back into something human. There is a downside to Urban Shave, however. I cannot easily return since my home is 2400 miles away :( Thanks Dave!!

Great barber shop with awesome western, old school vibes. They take their time with each haircut and really focus on the details. Mason does a great job every time, and I love the extra touches like washing your hair. Highly recommend.

I’ve had a beard for my adult life & have literally traveled more of that time than not. So, 20 years or so. Have had beard trims in most major US cities & many places abroad. Was a little hesitant to get a trim in Flagstaff, but I read the reviews & the only time available was about the only time I could pull off. So, figured that was a sign. It was. Mason gave me one of the best beard trims I’ve had anywhere. Is the price a little higher than I pay on average? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. The attention to detail, shape of my beard, the straight razor line up are all on point. He even shaved my neck, which many barbers won’t do. I only wish this barbershop was in my home market. If you’re wondering whether to book an appointment, my personal opinion is yes, yes you should.
